Building a Stronger Community: About GGBCF
The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation (GGBCF) is a non-profit corporation providing smart and effective giving tools for donors, impactful grants for nonprofit organizations and collaborative leadership around critical community initiatives.
We include Brown, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties in our service area and also support work in counties north of the greater Green Bay area.
What we do
We inspire and encourage charitable giving in northeastern Wisconsin by connecting caring people with solutions that strengthen our community.
How we work
We are a grant maker, combining community knowledge with donor dollars that are invested wisely for community impact, now and forever.
We serve as a resource for individuals, organizations or corporations looking to engage with and give to current or future community needs.

We are nationally certified
We are a nationally certified Community Foundation by the Council on Foundations. This certification confirms we meet the most rigorous standards in philanthropy.
The 43 National Standards require the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation to document its policies in donor services, investment management, grantmaking, and administration. The Community Foundation first received certification from the Council on Foundations in 2005. Re-certification is done every year.
