The Brown County 20/20 Conference was developed by the Bay Area Community Council in conjunction with the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, the Brown County United Way, and the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. The conference was centered around data regarding community concerns and attitudes found in the 2011 Brown County LIFE Study. The conference generated a vision and bold ideas from five different areas: education, overcoming division, economic development, personal and community health, and self-sufficiency. The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation conducted its third annual survey of non-profits in 2011. The next survey will be conducted in early 2013 and the report will be released in March or April 2013. As the economy has become more stable, so has the financial condition for northeastern Wisconsin area non-profits in 2010. As you’ll see in this report, northeastern Wisconsin area non-profits are faring better than national non-profits in terms of their financial health and programs and/or services. Read the Full Report
