About Us
Since 1991, the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation has been working with donors to make long-term investments that strengthen our community. We are a non-profit corporation overseen by a local, volunteer board of directors and serviced by a group of dedicated staff with expertise and knowledge to help people who care make a difference for our community. Our service area is Greater Green Bay, including Brown, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties, and we work with other foundations to service northeastern Wisconsin.
Our grants support non-profit organizations, between 400-500 each year, who deliver programs and services for basic needs, education, arts and culture, the environment, and more. We help donors exercise thoughtful and tactical philanthropy by doing rigorous financial and program analysis of our grantees and sharing our knowledge about our community’s challenges and most effective non-profits.We bring donors together to increase each donor’s impact and we work with government, foundations, and non-profits to address critical issues.
Our Mission
Our mission is to encourage and inspire charitable giving in northeastern Wisconsin by connecting people who care with solutions that strengthen our community.
