Anton C. and Lottie M. Delmont Scholarship

Amount:$1,000 for one year, renewable, must reapply
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted 
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Green Bay or De Pere high school who will attend an accredited college, university or technical college. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, financial need and extracurricular activities. 

Audrey Nelsen Teacher Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study: Education, Art, Foreign Languages, English/Writing, History
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduate of an Oconto County high school who plans to pursue a degree in teaching.  Applicant must intend to pursue a four-year degree at an accredited college or university and a career in teaching. Scholarship awarded based on financial need, academic performance, community service and tutoring or teaching experience. Additional requirements include an essay describing applicant’s favorite teacher and the factors that made him/her a favorite.   

Brenda & John Warren Scholarship

Amount:  $1,250, multi-year
Fields of Study:  All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior from Green Bay East high school or a student that has graduated from Green Bay East high school within the last two academic school years with plans to pursue a degree program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Scholarships awarded based on financial need, evaluation of essay, and evaluation of letter of recommendation from student services staff member.

Clifford Family Athletic Scholarship

Amount: Up to $1,250 for one year 
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating Green Bay Southwest High School student who will attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Applicants must have demonstrated participation as a student athlete for four seasons during high school. This could be four seasons in one sport, two seasons in two sports, or any combination of sports involvement that equals four seasons of participation. Additional requirements include an essay on how athletic participation enhanced time-management skills, leadership skills and the way the applicant deals with adversity.

Coach Earl (Mike) Miller Scholarship

Amount: Up to $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a participant on the Green Bay West High School varsity football team or have satisfactorily completed a social studies course. Scholarship recipient must attend a four-year accredited college or university.

Dale & Kay Lyndahl Family Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 for one year, renewable, must reapply
Fields of Study: Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduate of Green Bay West High School or Green Bay Southwest High School who intends to pursue a degree in any STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) field at a two-year or four-year accredited college or university.

Dawne Cramer Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $1,250 for one merit based award (Four Year Degrees) and $1,250 for one need based award (Two or Four Year Degrees)
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior or a past graduate of a Green Bay High School, planning on or currently attending an accredited two or four-year college or university, a minimum 2.7 cumulative high school GPA, and minimum two seasons of employment as a Green Bay parks Department employee in any of the following roles: Parkee, Life Guard, or Bay Beach employee.
Additional Requirements: Applicants will be judged on answers to three essay questions for demonstrating a solid, passionate work ethic, conscientiousness, determination, and respectfulness, and having a no-nonsense approach to his/her education.

Drew Elliott Johnson Mathletic Scholarship

Amount: $500 per year for four years
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduate of Ashwaubenon High School and a member of the Ashwaubenon High School math team who will pursue a four-year degree at an accredited four-year college or university. Awarded based on essay, academic performance, extracurricular and community service activities and honors or awards. Additional requirements include an essay about future plans and how the Ashwaubenon Math Team contributed to those decisions. 

Emil & Gail Fischer Scholarship of the N.E.W. Master Gardeners Association

N.E.W. Master Gardeners Association Horticulture Scholarship

Amount: Minimum of $1,000 for one year, renewable, must reapply
Fields of Study: Horticulture-related field (Botany, plant ecology, horticulture science, forestry, entomology, plant pathology, plant science or landscape horticulture) 
Requirements: Applicant must attend, or plan to attend, a two-year or four-year accredited college or university studying horticulture or related major. Applicant may be a high school senior, an enrolled college student or a returning student. This application requires an additional essay about the applicant's interests in horticulture, any field experience completed and his or her future plans. Qualified applicants will be considered for both scholarships with a single, completed scholarship application.

Fran Growt Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $1,500 for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: The scholarship was created in memory of Fran Growt and her dedication to quality education for the children of De Pere.  Applicant must be a graduating De Pere High School senior. Application requires a creative essay on one of several topics. Scholarship awarded based on expressiveness of written statement, financial need and related circumstances, G.P.A. and activities.  

Gordon & Elmyra Hobbs Scholarship for Crandon High School

Amount: $4,000 for two years (technical degrees) and $8,000 for 2 years (bachelor’s degree), renewable, must reapply
Additional awards are available for those pursuing a Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business. 
Fields of Study:  Business, Accounting or Related Major
Requirements: The Gordon & Elmyra Hobbs Scholarship is designed to encourage graduates of Crandon High School to pursue post-secondary education in accounting and business. Applicant must attend or have graduated from Crandon High School and plan to attend an accredited technical college, university, or graduate business program. All scholarships require a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 (or 2.0 college G.P.A.) and 1.5 high school course credits in business education.  The technical degree scholarship requires applicant to have completed 3 high school course credits in math, and the bachelor’s degree scholarship requires 4 math credits. Talk to your counselor early to learn what courses may qualify as business education.  Additional requirements include an one-page essay (1250 characters) responding to one of a choice of questions is required.  See application for topics. 

Great Expectations Scholarship

Amount: Up to $40,000 over four years (need based) and $8,000 over four years (merit based), multi-year scholarship
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior residing in Brown County with exceptional academic ability and promise. Scholarships are available only to those attending the most selective universities in the nation. A list of qualifying universities and colleges is available here.  Both types of scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, character and proof of college acceptance.  Demonstrated financial need is a strong consideration for the need-based scholarship, but is not the overriding factor for the merit-based award. Additional requirements include an essay on the applicant’s character and how it relates to his or her future plans, three letters of recommendation, and a copy of the application or acceptance letter to the college or university listed.  

Green Bay Press-Gazette Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating Brown County high school student planning to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, community service, extracurricular activities and academic performance (e.g., test scores and G.P.A.).

J. Richard Oltmann Memorial Scholarship
Amount: Minimum of $2,500 for one year 
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be recommended by an American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) member company or by an employee of the AAMA member company.  Applicant must be a high school senior entering freshman year as a full-time student at a two-year or four-year accredited college or university. Scholarship award based on leadership, community service, and innovation in activities, achievements, and work experience. 

Kurt Armbrust Scholarship
Amount: Up to $1,000 for one year 
Fields of Study: Science or Science-Related Field (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Physics, etc.)
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating Ashwaubenon High School student who will attend an accredited four-year college or university. Applicants must have demonstrated successful completion of four years of high school science coursework. Scholarship award based on involvement in science-related extracurricular activities, evaluation of science teacher's letter of recommendation, academic performance in science-related courses and standardized tests, and financial need. Additional requirements include a letter of recommendation from a science instructor.  

Lucille F. Larsen Denmark High School Scholarship

Amount: $500 for one year Fields of Study: Education or Teaching Requirements: Applicant must be a graduate of Denmark High School who will pursue a career in teaching at a Wisconsin college or university. Scholarship awarded based on financial need, academic performance, community service and tutoring or teaching experience. Additional requirements include an essay describing applicant’s favorite teacher and the factors that made him/her a favorite.   

Pomp’s/Wochinske Scholarship

Amount: $500 and $1,000 scholarships per year for two years, renewable after second year, must reapply
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements:  Scholarship is designed to encourage dependents of Pomp’s Tire employees who are high school graduates to pursue post-secondary education at a two-year or four-year accredited technical school, college or university. Applicant may be a high school senior, current college student or returning student. Scholarships awarded based on financial need, academic performance, work experience, extracurricular activities and essay. Additional requirements include an essay answering the question:  “To date who has been the most influential person in your life and what life lessons have you learned from that relationship?”  

Robert Huben Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $1,250 for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a Green Bay West High School senior or graduate with a 3.0 grade point average who will attend a two-year or four-year accredited college or university.

Rotary Club 279 Scholarship

Amount: Minimum of $1,250 for one year
Fields of Study: Business or Related Major
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Green Bay high school (Green Bay East, Green Bay West, Southwest, Preble, Notre Dame, or NEW Lutheran) who will attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and academic achievement.

Rotary Foundation of Green Bay Free Enterprise Scholarship

Amount:  $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study:  Business or a related field of study Requirements:  Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Brown County high school, with a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.75, and who will attend a four-year accredited college or university. Scholarship award based on evaluation of essay, participation in employment and extracurricular activities with an emphasis on those related to business (DECA, Junior Achievement, FBLA, Student Council, etc.) and community service performed.

Sieg GSW Girls Basketball Scholarship

Amount: $650 for one year, distributed for the second semester of the freshman year
Field of Study:  All Majors Accepted
Requirements:  Applicant must be graduating from either Gillett High School or Green Bay Southwest High School and have been involved with the Girls Basketball team (player or manager) at either school. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, financial need and essay. Additional requirements include an essay addressing “How basketball made a difference in my life.”  

Spirit of Free Enterprise in Honor of Larry Ferguson Scholarship Amount:  $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study:  All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Brown County high school who will attend a two-year or four-year accredited college or university. Applicant must also have participated as a Boy Scout and achieved Eagle Scout status, or be an FFA member who has received an FFA Chapter or State FFA award. Scholarships awarded based on evaluation of essay, participation in non sports-related extracurricular activities, and community service performed.  

Sy and Bernice Ward Scholarship

Amount:  $500 and $1,000 award
Fields of Study:  Business, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Nursing, TechnologyRequirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Brown County high school with plans to pursue a degree in technology, medicine, nursing, education, engineering, business, accounting or law. Scholarships awarded based on community service, financial need, and academic excellence. 

Thomas and Kopchinski Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a Green Bay Southwest or East High School graduating student with at least a 2.3 G.P.A. Scholarship based on financial need, applicant’s motivation for success in a post-secondary setting (considered through essays).  Additional requirements include an essay about applicant’s future aspirations and goals.  

Tom Garrity Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a current or former member of the Junior/Senior Green Bay Classic Traveling Bowling League from Brown, Oconto, Kewaunee or Door counties. The applicant must be planning to attend, or currently attending, an accredited post-secondary institution and have a G.P.A. of a 2.0 or higher. Awards based on financial need and essay. Additional requirements include an essay about the applicant’s future plans and why he/she should receive this scholarship, as well as proof of participation in the bowling league. 

Trowbridge Merit Scholarship

Amount: Between $500-$1,000 for one year
Fields of Study: Law 
Requirements: Applicant must be a legal resident of Brown County or have previously resided in Brown County for at least five years.  Applicant must be a student in good standing after completing one or two years of law school.  Application requires submission of applicant’s resume and statement of career objectives.  Scholarships based on law-related community service, student activities and career objectives. 

Vanderheiden-Willey Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 for one year, renewable
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Brown County high school. Scholarship awarded based on G.P.A., financial need, leadership qualities and extracurricular activities. Additional requirements include a brief essay about how the applicant's culture or family heritage has influenced his or her goals. Preference will be given to students who have experiences or backgrounds that are typically under-represented at post-secondary institutions and in higher education.  

Vanderheiden-Willey Wrightstown Scholarship

Amount: $1,000, renewable for one year
Fields of Study: All Majors Accepted
Requirements: Applicant must be a Wrightstown High School senior or graduate attending or planning to attend an accredited Wisconsin college or university. Scholarship awarded based on financial need, leadership, extracurricular activities and community service.  Additional requirements include an essay about how this scholarship will further applicant’s career goals.
