Nancy Armbrust Impact Award Accepting Nominations through October 31, 2021

October 6, 2021 – Schreiber Foods created the Nancy Armbrust Impact Award to honor Nancy Armbrust, a retired Schreiber Foods executive, community advocate and leader. The award is given annually to recognize a woman who, in the same spirit of Nancy, has had an indelible impact on the community.

Give BIG Green Bay returns for fifth community-wide giving day

October 1, 2021 – Applications are being accepted from October 1 through October 31, 2021, for participation in Give BIG Green Bay 2022 on February 23 & 24. In the last four years, this community-wide giving day has raised more than 5.5 million dollars for local nonprofits.

Women’s Funds Release COVID-19’s Impact on Women in Northeast Wisconsin Study

June 29, 2021 – The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay, the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region, the Women’s Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund have collaborated to produce COVID-19’s Impact on Women in Northeast Wisconsin Study.

New Northeast Wisconsin News Collaborative Gets Started with Support from Microsoft

May 25, 2021 – Today, the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation and Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region announce the formation of the NEW News Lab (Northeast Wisconsin News Lab), a new collaborative effort providing technology support, capacity building and additional funding to boost local journalism and newsrooms.

Community Foundation to Acquire Historic Train Depot

March 30, 2021 – The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation will acquire and occupy the historic Milwaukee Road Passenger Depot located at 400 S. Washington Street in downtown Green Bay. The Foundation has been working collaboratively with leaders to establish an accessible and forward-thinking center for impact and philanthropy.

Women’s Funds in NE Wisconsin to Embark on COVID-19 Impact Study

March 18, 2021 – The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay and three other Women’s Funds in Northeastern Wisconsin have come together to collaborate on a sweeping regional study that will lend local data to the assertion made nationwide that women have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 over the past year.

“Zooming into the Women’s Fund” Event to be Held March 3, 2021.

February 24, 2021 – The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay will host “Zooming into the Women’s Fund,” a special virtual edition of the annual Backstage with the Women’s Fund event, on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Attendees will gather virtually to network, hear from Women’s Fund grantees, celebrate this year’s Nancy Armbrust Impact Award recipient, and learn more about community advocacy. The event is at no cost and will take place from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. via Zoom

A BIG Thank You, Green Bay! Give BIG Green Bay 2021 raises over $2 million for local nonprofits.

February 19, 2021 – The results are in and this community stepped up in a BIG way to support local nonprofits. The fourth annual Give BIG Green Bay online giving event raised $2,082,665 in just 24 hours for 45 nonprofits serving Brown County. Since launching in 2018, Give BIG Green Bay has secured more than $5.5 million in unrestricted gifts for organizations working across 11 fields of interest including education, human services, housing, community improvement, youth development, the environment, health, and the arts.

January 14, 2021 – At a time when local nonprofits need critical financial support, Give BIG Green Bay is back! The Green Bay Packers Foundation and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation will host the fourth annual community-wide giving day from noon February 16 until noon February 17, 2021.
