Establish a Fund

Establishing a fund at the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation is an easy, effective way to invest in our community.

Whether you are considering opening a Donor Advised Fund to fund your charitable giving today, or looking to leave a legacy for the future, we will help you decide what type of fund is right for you. Creating a fund to reflect your values and giving philosophy is our priority.

You Can Open a Fund in 5 Easy Steps:

  1. Give Us a Call

We’ll walk through our fund types and help you determine which one best meets your charitable giving objectives.
  2. Contribute Assets

Once you’ve decided what type of fund is best, you’ll need to decide what assets you want to use to establish the fund.  There are a variety of giving options for you to consider.
  3. Choose a Fund Name and Purpose

When you create a fund, you decide the fund’s name and purpose.  A fund can be named for you, your family, as a memorial for a loved one or for a business.  Funds can also be anonymous or named to reflect your charitable purpose.
  4. Sign a Fund Contract

Once all of the details of the fund have been decided.  We will write a contract for your fund for you to approve.
  5. Make a Difference

Putting your fund to work is the fun part!  Our staff will work with you to ensure you have access to the Community Foundation’s knowledge and resources to help you make the most of your giving.
