Students must be a Wisconsin resident studying one of the following to qualify: plant sciences including botany and plant ecology, horticulture science, forestry, entomology, plant pathology or landscape horticulture. This scholarship requires an additional essay about the applicant’s interests in horticulture, any field experience completed and his or her future plans. Qualified applicants will be considered for both scholarships with a single, completed scholarship application.
Scholarship awarded based on applicant’s field experience, future plans, academic performance and financial need.
It is Community Foundation policy that all portions of the scholarship process be completed by the student applicant. If we learn that any part of the process is not completed by or the work of the student, the application may be removed from consideration or an awarded scholarship revoked.
