scholarship
Eligibility
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior residing in Brown County with exceptional academic ability and promise. Scholarships are available only to those attending the most selective universities in the nation. A list of qualifying universities and colleges is available here.
Award Criteria
Both merit-based and need-based scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, character and proof of college acceptance. Demonstrated financial need is a strong consideration for the need-based scholarship, but is not the overriding factor for the merit-based award. Additional requirements include an essay on the applicant’s character and how it relates to his or her future plans, three letters of recommendation, and a copy of the application or acceptance letter to the college or university listed.
Amount
Up to $50,000 over four years (need based) and $8,000 over four years (merit based), multi-year scholarship

Administration
It is Community Foundation policy that all portions of the scholarship process be completed by the student applicant. If we learn that any part of the process is not completed by or the work of the student, the application may be removed from consideration or an awarded scholarship revoked.
Application Procedure

The application process will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. The system times out so SAVE your work often! - Documents

- Student Aid Report (SAR) showing Expected Family Contribution (EFC). This report is available after you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
