Eligibility
Students must be a Wisconsin resident studying one of the following to qualify: plant sciences including botany and plant ecology, horticulture science, forestry, entomology, plant pathology or landscape horticulture. This scholarship requires an additional essay about the applicant’s interests in horticulture, any field experience completed and his or her future plans.
Award Criteria
Scholarship awarded based on applicant’s field experience, future plans, academic performance and financial need.
Amount
Ranges from $1,000- $3,000 for one year. Students can reapply.

Administration
It is Community Foundation policy that all portions of the scholarship process be completed by the student applicant. If we learn that any part of the process is not completed by or the work of the student, the application may be removed from consideration or an awarded scholarship revoked.
Application Procedure
- The application process will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. The system times out so SAVE your work often!
- You’ll need your most recent high school transcript saved as a PDF for easy uploading.
