Spirit of Free Enterprise in Honor of Larry Ferguson Scholarship

High School

Any Brown County High School

College/University

Two-year or four-year accredited college or university

Eligibility

Applicants must be a graduating senior from a Brown County High School who will attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.  Must have demonstrated participation as a Boy Scout and achieved Eagle Scout status, and/or be a FFA member who has received a FFA Chapter or State FFA award.

Award Amount

Typically $1,250 for one year

Administration

It is Community Foundation policy that all portions of the scholarship process be completed by the student applicant. If we learn that any part of the process is not completed by or the work of the student, the application may be removed from consideration or an awarded scholarship revoked.

Application Procedure

  • The application process will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. The system times out so SAVE your work often!
  • You’ll need your most recent high school transcript saved as a PDF for easy uploading.
