6 ways YOU can amplify the impact of Give BIG Green Bay

Green Bay, WI – Give BIG Green Bay starts at noon on February 19. We encourage you to visit giveBIGgreenbay.org to discover the stories of 50 participating nonprofits and get ready to support the work they do to build a stronger Brown County.

Join us, February 19 & 20, from noon to noon, and be part of this community-wide day of giving.

Pass It On

Sharing your passion for giving back creates a stronger, more connected community for the future. By participating together, you’re not only raising awareness but also inspiring the next generation of givers.

Here are three fun and meaningful ways to engage them:

LET THEM CHOOSE A CAUSE – Give each family member a set amount, starting at $10, to donate to the charity or charities they care about. You could also give your friends the opportunity to choose a charity of their choice and donate in their honor.  

MATCH THEIR GENEROSITY – Encourage kids to donate part of their allowance or savings, and offer to match their contribution to double their impact!

ENCOURAGE THEM TO RALLY FOR A CAUSE – Older kids and teens can spread the word, fundraise, or use social media to support a cause that matters to them. They can even make it official by becoming a peer-to-peer fundraiser. Learn the steps to becoming a fundraiser here.

Sharing your excitement increases the impact of Give BIG Green Bay by making more people aware of this opportunity to invest in our community’s nonprofits.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS – Send a text. Forward this email. Tell a co-worker. These simple acts cultivate a sense of community, inviting others to contribute in their own meaningful ways.  

SHARE YOUR WHY – Highlight why you’re passionate about a particular organization or cause, and encourage others to do the same to amplify the impact.
