OCT 1, 2020 – In the last three years, Give BIG Green Bay has raised $3.4 million dollars for local nonprofits. The 24-hour online giving day is back to support the nonprofits serving our community. Applications are being accepted from October 1 through October 31, 2020, for participation in the February 16 & 17, 2021, event. Launched in 2018, the Green Bay Packers and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation are hosting the fourth community-wide giving day.

Give BIG Green Bay is an online giving event designed to transform the way people think about and contribute to Brown County charities. The simple online giving platform, giveBIGgreenbay.org, provides a way for everyone to learn more about the work of selected nonprofits and donate, at any level, to causes they champion. This online giving day is designed to provide organizations, representing 11 fields of interest, a platform to tell their story, educate the community about their critical work, and reach new donors. In addition, thanks to the generosity of the Green Bay Packers and other donors, this year’s event will offer a minimum of $250,000 in matching funds and incentives to participating organizations.

Brown County nonprofits are encouraged to apply at giveBIGgreenbay.org. The selection process will ensure participation of a diverse cross-section of impactful organizations serving Brown County residents.

In the last three years, our community has supported the participating nonprofits in a BIG way. Now, more than ever, these organizations need our community’s support so they can continue providing the most essential services to our community.
