The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay recently granted more than $40,000 to the following programs:

American Foundation of Counseling Services
A collaboration with Eye Heart World to provide free counseling services for women rescued from human trafficking rings, who often have no identification to obtain health insurance and enroll in other assistance programs.

Cerebral Palsy, Inc. 
A 20-week women-only karate class for women in the Adult Day Services Program to improve confidence and physical fitness of women with a significant physical or developmental disability.

Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin 
Removal of transportation barriers to the Women’s Recovery Journey program empowering women recovering from their AODA addiction to find employment, get an education, learn basic living skills, or continue extensive treatment.

Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, Inc. 
Delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to at-risk girls at schools, after-school sites, community centers, and detention homes throughout Brown County, encouraging quality, safe, positive developmental experiences.

Greater Green Bay YMCA, Inc. 
A 9-week program to help 5th-grade girls explore positive peer relationships, social emotional learning, positive self-image, life skills, and how to bridge the transition to sixth grade, delivered through experiential activities.

House of Hope Green Bay, Inc. 
Case management and individualized supportive services to young mothers and children experiencing homelessness to empower clients to gain housing, independence, and stability.

YWCA of Green Bay-De Pere 
A free 10-week life coaching program for underrepresented women, targeting six areas: life and purpose, self-esteem/personal power, financial future, relationship satisfaction, health, and work-life balance.
